Community Access
The Cabrillo Youth Waterfront Center hosts a range of water sports and educational
activities for local youth organizations, schools, camps, and first responders through
access to the waterfront, boathouse, pool, campgrounds, and event facilities. We are
committed to further expanding opportunities in sailing, small boat handling, ocean
sports, marine sciences, and waterfront education.

San Pedro and the Port of Los Angeles are a hub for
high-performance sailing. As international teams prepare for the 2028 Olympic Games over the next two and a half years, P2P aims to provide a world-class infrastructure and support services
for all stages of elite training.

Welcome to Los Angeles 2028! We are excited to host your team for the Olympic Sailing competition. To help us prepare facilities, safety, and logistics, please share your federation’s planned training schedule and presence in Los Angeles leading up to the Games. This information will ensure smooth coordination across venues and the best experience for your athletes and staff. One submission per team, please.
